Alfred
Sean Mielke and Alfred together forever and always in our heart
Alfred was released from this world on July 8, 2023 after loosing his co-cower Sean Mielke on December 12, 2022.
They are now once again reunited over the rainbow bridge!
Alfred is a puppy we kept and co owned with our brother Sean Mielke, from our June 2013 litter out of Suki and Junior
This little man was born on June 14 2013 and a wonderful fawn and white in colour.
Alfred is a smart and curious pup that loves to play and be around other people and other animals.
He is going to be a big boy when done growing!
At six months of age he had already hit 75 pounds.
Alfred topped out at 88 pounds at his heaviest and usually hangs out around 80 pounds lean.
He has turned out to be an adventurous, curious and friendly boy.
He is one giant snuggle bug!
Pandora

Pandora at 11 yrs of age
Pandora released from this world on August 10. 2022 due to a drastic decline in health from her advanced age. She was surrounded by family and friends whom will miss her dearly.
Pandora is our smaller more energetic akita female we own.
She is full sister and litter mate to our other akita Suki.
She was born August 10 2009 and had her first litter on April 1st of 2011.
She weighs in at 74 pounds on average.
Her soft and thick coat is a cinnamon (fawn) and white in color, sporting the pinto markings that can be found in this breed.
Pandora has been well socialized with people and pets.
She is a loving family dog with the energy need to keep up with children and other active pets.

Sora was released from this world shortly after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of lung cancer. She was surround by family and friends both physically and via video conference due to covid restrictions.
Sora was born on April 1 2011 and is one of our own puppies out of our female Pandora.
Sora is simply our family pet and has been spayed.
She weighs in at 70 pounds.
She displays a beautiful coat known as silver sable and white coloration with the pinto markings carried over by her mother and father.
She has a love all attitude and a child like playful nature.
She is well socialized with people and other pets.

Suki
August 20, 2009 - May 24, 2021
It was with a sad and heavy heart we said good by to our little angel in the early hours of May 24 2021 after experiencing a sudden unset of Bloat that progressed quickly into a gastric volvulus dilatation (GVD) also known as a Twisted Stomach. After speaking to our veterinarian and discussing the survival rate of this major surgery at her age and other health concerns that where comping up as she aged, we came the decision to prevent suffering and have her humanely euthanized surrounded by family.
We find it fitting that she passed on Victoria Day here in Canada, as every litter she has had has always fallen on a Holiday.

This is a lovely male we use as stud for our girls.
He was born December 2008.
He weighs in around 98 pounds.
He sports a thick and soft coat that is fawn and white and color and is also minimal pinto marked.
He has a proud and powerful build, and a gentle, caring and loving nature.
He is well socialized with people and other pets.
This boy is also the proud father to our female akita Sora and our male akita Alfred
He was born December 2008.
He weighs in around 98 pounds.

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Junior on October 23 2019, merely a few weeks away from celebrating his 11th Birthday. He was diagnosed with what was suspected to be a hemangiosarcoma late August 2019, and when the disease had progressed to the point where he was having more bad days than good it was decided it was time to prevent any suffering. He was released from this world with tears and love in his own home surrounded by family, friends, and the Veterinarian of the local vet clinic that know him from the first day we brought him home. He was an excellent representative for the Akita breed with his loving and friendly disposition and has left behind many beloved pups to carry on his legacy.
Our only regret is that we could not have more time with him.

Angel aka "Pipsqueek"
Angel is one of the family cats that has been with us since a kitten after being dropped off at the pound as an 8- 9 week old kitten. He was 12 years when we had the hard decision to let him go due to ostemyetitis of the jaw that then turned into cancer of the jaw. He has put up with many a puppy and helped to teach them how to treat cats making them ready for future homes. He will be deeply missed.
Sasha is our loving cat companion that had recently passed away due to an auto immune disease. He passed on with in 24 hours of the symptoms first showing and the diagnosis. He was a domestic short hair tabby that live a happy life and fought off several life threatening diseases in the past.
He was loved and cherished by all that met this lazy, laid back, natured boy. He passed away at 8 yrs of age and will be missed by everyone he touched in his life.

Castiel, Rough Rider, Gypsy Danger, Rosie, Jarvis Jeeves, and Stumpy are just a few of the dragons that have helped to socialize our dogs and puppies with 'smaller' animals that they may experience in their life away from our home. Their patience and presence will never be forgotten.

Patty was a golden retriever that came to the Mielke family as a rescue.
She was born March 14 1992, a St. Patrick day puppy hence the name Patty.
She lived to the ripe old age for 16 years before passing away due to a stroke on June 18 2008.
